Ashley and Stacy met on the first day of high school, despite having gone to the same schools in the little West Michigan town they both grew up in. Ashley is outgoing, impulsive, and random while Stacy is sarcastic, analytical, and a self-proclaimed nerd. Even though everybody who knew them said it wouldn’t last because they were so different, they ended up college roommates together for five years at Michigan State University (Go Green!).
They had gone on several trips within the country together, but the first international trip they took together was a graduation trip to Europe, which – very true to how they both operate throughout life – didn’t actually end up corresponding to the time that either of them graduated.
After several years living on opposite sides of the country, they are finally living within 30 minutes of each other again. Ashley is a flight attendant and Stacy is a veterinarian, and between work and COVID, traveling together has become a tad difficult, but they’re not letting it stop them trying.
Between the two of them, and trips they’ve taken both together and separately, they hope to backlog trips that have already happened and write about ones that are yet to come. They have also decided to feature “guest posts” written by friends who live in various places, all in the hopes to share their experiences and help spread the wanderlust.
